Description
Crkva sv. Ivana Krstitelja u groblju jednobrodna je starohrvatska crkva s plitkom kvadratičnom apsidom iz XII. stoljeća. Ona je bila zadužbina Kačića. Spominje je Osman- aga g. 1621. u popisu crkava Primorja a jednako g. 1672, makarski biskup fra Marijan Lišnjić. Crkva je g. 1911. popravljena ali je od potresa (1962.) jako oštećena. Crkva je 80-ih god. XX. st. arhitektonski dokumentirana, te su provedeni istražni arheološki radovi i sanacija pod vodstvom Konzervtorskog odjela. U unutrašnjosti crkve su rekonstruirani gotički posvetni križevi. Crkva je pod državnom zaštitom (Reg. br. 13). Pred crkvom je stećak sljemenjak i grobna ploča sa grbom obitelji Kačić
